Review from a first-time client
★★★★★
I experienced a Traditional Thai Massage yesterday for the first and was amazed at how much of a therapeutic experience it was. Staff are so knowledgeable and make you feel very comfortable. I would recommend Thai Massage to anyone. Olga

Do I need to know which massage to book?

No. Tell us what is bothering you — pain, stiffness, stress, poor sleep — and Jevgenijs will suggest the right approach. In the booking form, choose "Not sure — please advise".

What happens at the free consultation?

New clients receive a free 15-minute consultation to complete a short health intake form. This means your full treatment time is spent on the massage, not on paperwork.

What should I wear?

For oil-based treatments you undress to your comfort level and are covered with towels throughout. For Thai yoga and Thai table massage, wear loose, comfortable clothing — no oil is used.

Should I eat before my massage?

A light snack is fine, but avoid a heavy meal in the hour or two before your session — lying down on a full stomach is rarely comfortable.

Will it hurt?

Deep work can feel intense, but it should never be painful to be effective. Pressure is adjusted to you during the session — just say if you want more or less.

Can I talk during the session — or ask for something to change?

Entirely up to you. Some clients like to chat, many prefer silence. Either way, say at any time if you would like more or less pressure, a different position, or for the session to stop — it is your treatment.

How will I feel afterwards?

Most clients feel relaxed and lighter. After deep tissue work or a first session, muscles can feel a little tender for a day or two, much like after exercise. Drinking some water and taking it easy for the rest of the day helps.

How often should I come?

It depends on your goals. Many clients come weekly or fortnightly for maintenance; for a specific problem Jevgenijs will suggest a frequency after the first session.

Is there a reason I might not be able to have a treatment?

Some medical conditions mean massage is not advisable, which is why every new client completes a consultation form. Let us know about any conditions, injuries or pregnancy when you book.

Is my information kept private?

Yes. Consultation forms and treatment notes are kept securely and are never shared with third parties. Your treatment is discussed only with you.

Can someone under 18 have a treatment?

Yes, if accompanied by an adult who gives permission, co-signs the consultation form and stays in the room throughout the treatment.

Ready when you are

Tell us what's bothering you and when suits you — we'll suggest a treatment and a time. New clients get a free 15-minute consultation.
